On Tuesday 24th of November, our 8th annual Adroit Insurance Group Charity Golf Day was held at 13th Beach Golf Course, in Barwon Heads.
The weather was a kind 25 degrees - perfect for the event. 136 players participated which included local business owners and our underwriting partners and providers. The event is possible by the support and sponsorship of players, businesses and insurance companies, in particular our Major Sponsors Quiksilver Foundation, Wallington Mitre 10, QBE, CGU, Allianz and Club Marine. Many local businesses also supplied gifts for the raffle.
We are very pleased to announce that we raised over $60,000 for the St John of God Hospital, Geelong. All proceeds this year will be donated to the Special Care Nursery Appeal. The proceeds will make a significant contribution towards building a new nursery during 2010 and will ensure that the regions families are served the best facilities, technology and skills of an amazing special care nursery team.
The event is organised by our Geelong office with many staff volunteering to assist on the day which is greatly appreciated by management of Adroit Insurance Group.
