Hello Adroit Insurance Group

New brand unveiled

The highly successful insurance brokerage, with a trading network of Austbrokers branches across Victoria and southern New South Wales under the guise of Stateplan, will now be known as Adroit Insurance Group. It marks a new era for this trusted, experienced business.

Andrew Locke, Adroit’s Managing Director, described the brand evolution as “a natural progression of the business”.

Mr Locke said, “The rebrand is much more than a name change and new logo; it is and has been about taking stock of where we are, identifying where we want to be, and repositioning ourselves accordingly. The whole process has been one of reviewing and remodelling how we think and act within our organisation.”

“One of the major drivers in making the change was to eliminate the brand confusion that exists in relation to our business; while we remain a proud member of the Austbrokers Group, we are in part an independent locally owned and managed business, as by extension are each of our Branches.”

The Adroit business has evolved largely by way of the acquisition of many independent broking businesses throughout regional, and more recently metropolitan Victoria.

“Our local origins and identity are extremely important to us. Our organisational structure features local partners in each of our branch communities. Clients benefit from local, personalised understanding within the context and certainty of a robust overarching group. In other words, they will continue to deal with the same people at the same locations as previously, but will notice a reinforced commitment to values and service.”

Another is to derive maximum advantage for scale in that “having our own clear and consistent identity will considerably strengthen our buying power, meaning we can offer our clients even better value in terms of comprehensive products and services at competitive prices.”

“The Adroit brand is much more than what we look like, it’s about who we are, what we do and what our clients expect.”

“We’ve engaged our customers and staff right across the firm to find out what they wanted, to help identify our values and to give us clarity about every aspect of our business. We listened … and now we are committed more than ever to delivering.”

“We’ve created a roadmap for the future that sets out an exciting new service delivery model that promises us a strong competitive advantage,” continued Mr Locke.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our customers a fresh, meaningful brand and a strengthened commitment and focus to everything we do, including our tradition of supporting the communities in which we operate and live.”

The launch of the Adroit brand is the culmination of more than two years of consultation, workshopping and effort by a remarkable number of people, from within and outside the organisation.

“We are fortunate to have so many people on board, right across our network, who were prepared to contribute and give of themselves – their time, their opinions, their ideas,” said John Skidmore Adroit Insurance Group Chairman. “We have sought specialist expertise to build on our understanding of the business and translate it into an exciting visual identity, an innovative service delivery model and a powerful marketing plan. Putting it all together and rolling it out across our enterprise means we can move forward with confidence and certainty that we are delivering the best-possible service and value to our clients.”
